POWDER BROWS
A soft, misty, powder filled brow similar to the look of makeup meaning the tails of the brow are darker, and fade into a light start to the brow, giving it a very subtle look. This ombré powder technique gives an ombré powdered effect that can be made extremely soft and natural looking, or bold and defined. Over time, pigment fades leaving the skin and your natural brows behind.

Service will include consultation, consent form signing, brow shaping, and the actual tattoo procedure. Numbing gel will be used to minimize any discomfort.

All results will vary per client depending on their skin, blood type, lifestyle, existing hair, bone structure, any prescriptions taken, and the amount of times the brows had been worked on and after care.

What is lip Tattooing?
Lip tattooing is a form of permanent makeup. It is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness. This treatment delivers very natural results, once healed. Filler is great for creating volume in your lips, but lip blush delivers a more natural look and gives the illusion of fuller lips.

What is Dark Lip Neutralization?
Is a special procedure that is used to neutralize the darkness in the lips in order to reach a desired color. During the procedure, the Lip Blush Artist will neutralize the lips by cancelling out the original color.

**Results vary from client to client but after first touch up, can typically last anywhere from 2-5 years, depending on your skin type, health, sun exposure and aftercare. Lip tattooing can add a subtle flush of color or give more of a lipstick look if preferred.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :To prevent cold sores, please ask your primary physician about getting an anti-viral or an over the counter such as Lysine, Valtrex or Zovirax. Take it 3 days before and 1 off day the day of the procedure. Then 3 days after or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist.

IMPORTANT :To prepare your lips, please gently exfoliate your lips nightly and frequently apply lip balm in order to hydrate your lips for the 7 days leading up to your appointment. It is not possible to tattoo the lips of the skin is dry or sunburnt.

•If you have notable coolness or darkness to your lips, you will likely require a session of neutralization first. Please reach out if you would like to have a consultation for neutralization - this can be done via email or in person.

•If you have lip fillers, please allow 8 weeks for your fillers to settle before having them tattooed.

•Lips tattooing is a minimum 2-step process and requires you to come in for a follow up appointment 8-12 weeks after the initial procedure. Some clients may need further sessions - particularly those with coolness, darkness or scarring to their lips.

Touch up:
-Second session 8-12 weeks: $200
-3 months-12 months refresh: $250
-After 12 months full price cost

FAQ

PLEASE READ
1. What is the Ombre Eyebrow Tattoo?
A soft, misty, powder filled brow similar to the look of makeup meaning the tails of the brow are darker, and fade into a light start to the brow, giving it a very subtle look. This ombré powder technique gives an ombré powdered effect that can be made extremely soft and natural looking, or bold and defined. This technique is perfect for all skin types and suitable for everyone with full or no hair. It’s personally, my favorite style! Over time, pigment fades leaving the skin and your natural brows behind.

2. How long do they last?
The results can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.

3. What other permanent makeup services do you do?
I do only offer:
-Ombre Eyebrow
-Dark Lip Neutralization
-Lip Blush
** No Microblading

4. Does it hurt?
You may experience slight discomfort during the first pass which takes about 2-3 minutes. (Nothing unbearable). Once we achieve the outline we will then apply a numbing making the rest of the procedure virtually painless.
Each individual will have a different experience with the level of discomfort associated with the service. Some say it is relaxing and they only feel the pressure being applied. Others say it feels about as uncomfortable as tweezing.
Some clients naturally feel one brow sorer than the other.
Music is usually played during the procedure, however feel free to bring your own ear phones and music to distract you.

5. Is it safe?
Absolutely. Sterilized, disposable needles and supplies are used during the process.

6. Will I be swollen?
You won't be swollen, you just might have slightly red skin around eyebrows.

7. Will I need a touch up?
Everyone has a different skin type, not everyone will need a touchup.
Within a week of your first treatment the color will fade significantly and over the next four to six weeks can continue to fade as much as 50%. This is considered an extremely positive occurrence as it allows you time to reflect on your shape and color. After this period your follow-up appointment is carried out. At this point any changes you would like to make are discussed. The timeframe for the true color is 4-6 weeks.

8. How often do I need a touch up?
In order to keep your eyebrow tattoo results looking fresh and for longer lasting brows, book your first touch-up appointment within 6-10 weeks after your initial session then annually to maintain shape and color.

9. Why do I need a touch up if this is semi-permanent?
Because color is implanted in the facial area there tends to be more fluid circulation than other parts of the body. Your face sees the most wear of any piece of you—exposure to the sun, food, facial products—the list goes on and on. All of these things cause permanent color to fade, this is why you need a touch up.

10. How long does it take?
The procedure takes roughly about 3-hours, sometimes more sometimes less. Please allow a solid 4-hours window for your appointment. I likely won’t need that much time, but this isn’t something I want to rush.
Your second appointment (6-10 week touch up) will be between 60-90 minutes.

11. Do I need to take a day off work?
No. There’s no downtime associated with the treatment. Redness will disappear in a day or two. Your brows will appear darker initially, but not so dark that you will be prevented from your activities of daily living.

12. How long does it take to heal?
Healing time varies from individual to individual. Usually, it takes about a 7 to 14 days for the epithelial crust to form and slough off. Your skin will be considered healed after that happens. Then, the pigment takes some time to settle into the skin. A good month should pass before I consider the process complete.

13. What’s the process like?
After taking your before photo, I will draw the brow design in pencil so you get an idea of shape and form. (Please note that nobody’s face is totally symmetrical and you need to be realistic with your expectations. There is no point in trying to make the eyebrows identical or match a photo of your favorite celebrity’s eyebrows if your face shape looks nothing like theirs). Once we have agreed on a final shape (ultimately it is your decision – but I will always voice my opinion on what I think suits you aesthetically), I will clean up some of the hair out of the line on your eyebrows then we will decide on the color. Shortly after that, we start doing outline then apply a topical anesthetic will be administered to ensure comfort. Once you’re numb, the pigment is deposited.
During healing, it's normal to experience some pigment loss; this is why we have the touch up in place. The outcome should be soft and powdery. If you prefer the darker look, please proceed with booking a retouch session.
***Touch-up is not included.

14. What can’t I do after the procedure?
You are advised to keep the skin clean and dry - that means no swimming, sweating or otherwise getting the area wet, no tanning or prolonged sun exposure, no picking, peeling, scratching or rubbing the tattoo, this may result in a loss of color and scarring. You can still wash your hair and face and once they’re healed up.

15. How do I extend the life of the procedure?
Your beautiful eyebrows will last longer if you apply sun block often and avoid abrasive facial treatments in the brow area.

16. How many color do you have?
Of the 8 main colors I use, I can blend several to achieve even more shades to suit the client. ALL clients who have had the procedure done will be conscious they have brows that are very obvious, however please bear in mind, the skin has been broken to allow the pigment settle, and healing has yet to take place. This is why I ask you to bring your eyebrow pencil (if you use one) with you at appointment - so I can match the pigment to the desired HEALED RESULT, which emerges after the crusts naturally fall off and the skin gently exfoliates naturally itself to reveal the new brow. Clients who are used to having no brows for a long time, can find this few weeks challenging. I usually advise clients who have no brows to start wearing pencil or brow shading for some time before the process so they get used to having a brow!

17. Do you touch up on another artist's work?
Touch-up is for existing clients only.
As a new client to me, previous work or not, you will get the full treatment as such! I have no clue what your previous artist used for tools, stroke patterns, or pigments, and not sure if the proper depth was used, which could mean scar tissue.
In most cases, not all old tattoos are fixable.
Please send three (3) clear photos of your bare brow to get approval before booking your appt.

18. Do you have to shave off my own eyebrows?
No. Every attempt is made to retain all natural hair and integrate it into the design of the permanent eyebrows. In some cases, where shaping of the natural brow is required, a few hairs here and there may need to be removed to create a clean and aesthetically pleasing result.

19. I have heard some clients just do not retain pigment even after a few visits. could this happen?
In these circumstances, a third appointment is often set up so the brow artist can review the work and sort out possible tweaks, (if any) that may need to be done. Often times, a client will cancel this appointment as the brows will just take a little extra time forming to the finished look. However, there are the occasional few that may need one or two extra strokes to finish off the look. The skin may react in a way to try and push out the foreign body of pigment by producing an extreme scab, which eventually will fall off, taking all the pigment with it. A condition of Pigment Allergy or PPD (paraphenylenediamine) can cause an adverse reaction from the dye as well as any Auto Immune diseases, which the client may not even be aware of. The skin would have over reacted and become super sensitive to the pigment and reject it at any cost.

20. Can you guarantee your work?
Unfortunately, I can't. How the skin will react is different for everyone and many factors are to be taken into consideration. Skin type, age, scarring, diet, stress levels, facial products used, etc. all play a key role in how the pigment will hold, which is why it is important to know that more than one touch up may be required.
I can guarantee that your face is important to me, and that I will act in accordance with my experience and expertise to give you my absolute best. I can guarantee that I will strive to make you gratified and content every time. But there are no guarantees in this industry. Please think long and hard before you decide to go for it.

21. What if I don’t like it?
Ombré Eyebrows is considered to be semi-permanent, the procedure does allow flexibility for color or shape change to some extent. However, I will work closely with you to ensure that you are satisfied with the proposed technique. I will allow you to have as much control over the procedure as possible, so there’s very little room for error. If you do not like the decision you made, the Touch Up can be cancelled, and the pigmented area naturally fades away over time. If you aren’t 100% sure you would benefit from this procedure, please opt for a more temporary option.

22. Can I get my Ombre brows done before my vacation?
No, if your vacation involves water, swimming, or physical activities. Our after care: no water, no sweating on brows for 7-14 days for best results.

23. How can I pay?
Cash or Zelle preferred.
All major credit cards accepted with Tax and transaction fee.
Cherry Payments plans:
- Pay with debit with a 4.5% transaction fee.
- Pay with credit with a 10% transaction fee.

24. Is it customary to tip for permanent makeup?
Tips are very much appreciated! As in any service-based industry, it is customary to tip 10-20%
